Product introduction
Methyl isobutyl carbinnol (mibc) is an excellent medium boiling
point solvent, used as a solvent for dyes, petroleum, rubber,
resin, paraffin, nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose; used as brake
fluid and organic synthesis Used as a mineral flotation reagent,
such as extracting silicon and copper sulfate; used as an inert solvent for nitrocellulose paint, which can
increase the gloss and flatness of the paint and improve the
redness performance; used in the manufacture of lubricant additives
Solvents, etc.
Applications where MIBC may be used include surface coatings,
thinners, printing inks, adhesives, cosmetics, toiletries and
cleaners. It may also be used in pharmaceuticals applications, for
the extraction of vitamins and minerals, as wetting agents in
lithographic printing and as chemical intermediates. MIBC can also
be used in the production of lube oil additives, hydraulic fluids
and plasticisers.
